This summary of Jewish law, written in an accessible and contemporary style, is based on the rulings of our master, Rabbi Ovadia Yosef. It follows the order of the four parts of the Shulchan Aruch, the code of laws dealing with all aspects of Jewish life.

This fourth volume deals with the laws relating to the fast of the 9th of Av, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Simchat Torah, Hanukkah, Purim, the mixing of milk and meat, wine and Tevilat Kelim.

This masterful work, which has the distinction of bringing together all the halakhic decisions of the Rav scattered throughout his numerous writings, allows one to penetrate deeply into the limpid thought of Rav Ovadia.
