Known, read and studied by our parents for centuries, this work is currently experiencing a revival.

The aim of this bilingual edition is to make it better known to French-speaking readers while taking into account the expectations of current generations.

How ?

Drawing on the writings of our great commentators to provide a translation into French, in clear and accessible language for all.

Each translated 'Hok text includes a reference and a title. It is sometimes preceded by an introductory reminder and followed by commentary.

By providing the reader with an overview through tables and diagrams, the whole thing is part of a methodological approach that facilitates the transition from detail to global, from analysis to synthesis and vice versa.

This modern approach will appeal to the reader, and will make them a fan of this work which has spanned more than four centuries, and is sold in Israel in the Hebrew version by about twenty different publishing houses.

Finally, it allows us to respect the Torah's commandment to dedicate time each day to its study, while approaching this study from a multidisciplinary perspective.
