Shabbat 3 - Forbidden Work - Part 2. Hanna Sadik Publishing House is once again honored and pleased to present a new volume in its series on the laws of Shabbat. This time, we continue and expand upon the presentation of the 39 melakot (works forbidden on Shabbat), from the prohibition against tying a knot to carrying in public, including sewing, tearing, shearing, writing, erasing, etc. This book, like its predecessors, will allow the reader to easily understand these laws thanks to its simple presentation and clear text. At the end of the book, a summary table lists the 39 forbidden work categories and the corresponding chapters to which the reader can refer in the second or third volume of the series. In this table, we have also indicated the derivatives of these works and the prohibitions concerning them. Attractive illustrations complement the learning of these laws as well as the teachings of our Sages which remind us of the importance of Shabbat and the gravity of its laws.
